I've spent my career helping people find the words for what matters.

I spent more than two decades as a music pastor, college professor, and writer before ghostwriting and author coaching became the center of my professional life. No matter the context, I learned that my best work happens in conversations and collaboration with other people. That turned out to be great preparation for ghostwriting.

Today, I work with executives, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders who have ideas worth putting into a book but don’t have the time or desire to write it themselves. My job is to understand what they want to say and craft a book in their authentic voice.

Away from the desk

I live in the St. Louis area. Most days, I’m in the office early to have some coffee and work on my own writing before turning my attention to serving clients. My daily writing practice eventually became the inspiration for The Daily Writer, my podcast and upcoming book about building a creative life through consistency rather than waiting for inspiration.

When I’m not writing or working, I’m usually reading, spending time with my family, or walking in nature. And after all these years, I still believe books are magic.
