Book Review: Are You Living or Existing? by Kimanzi Constable

Every couple of months I’ll find a catalog from an academic publisher in my college mailbox. Many times I’ll see a number of upcoming books that look intriguing. Other times I’ll see books that are written for such a specific audience, or on such a specific topic, that they are virtually guaranteed to never be read widely.

71058fWPo3LThe book I want to share with you today is exactly the opposite: it’s a book for almost everyone. My friend Kimanzi Constable has written Are You Living or Existing? 9 Steps to Change Your Life for anyone who believes they’re not living up to their full potential. The book is a road map to help you make positive changes in your life and begin making your dreams reality.

There are four reasons I’m a big fan of this book:

1. It’s short. At less than 100 pages, it’s a very quick read. I would rather read a short book that packs a punch than a long one that will just sit on my shelf.

2. It’s practical. Kimanzi focuses on real-life issues that make a big difference, such as identifying your dreams, getting fit, and fixing your money (just to name a few).

3. It’s actionable. The book is heavily geared toward putting the concepts into practice and taking action.

4. It’s been done. Kimanzi has lived the principles in the book. As a former bread delivery man who hated his job, he began to create the life he wanted. He eventually sold tens of thousands of ebooks and has developed a successful coaching business. He and his family recently moved to Hawaii.

Here’s a deal you can’t pass up: The publisher is offering the book for only $1.99 (Kindle version) through November 8. If you purchase the book before then, you have access to a free four-week class on building an online business. You can find details here.

I have done one-on-one coaching with Kimanzi, and just completed a four-week writing course he co-taught. If you have any interest in doing online business, this is a pretty great deal.

I don’t receive any commission from Kimanzi’s book. He has personally helped me in my writing and business, and I want to share the opportunity to be part of his course for very little expense. I hope you take advantage of it!
