As a writer, you know it’s important to spend time reading. But like most people, you probably feel pressed for time. On this episode, we’ll dive into ten specific ways to read more books and get more out of the books you read.

The strategies we cover are:

  1. Have a set time each day to read.
  2. Keep a book where you will see it every day.
  3. Set a reading goal.
  4. Read with a partner.
  5. Listen to audiobooks.
  6. Read books that interest you, and stop reading ones that don’t.
  7. Use a pen or your finger to regulate your reading speed.
  8. Preview the chapter before you read.
  9. Take a book wherever you go.
  10. Use some of your Netflix time for reading.
